About Us
Rob Durney was born in Miami, Florida in 1963. A graduate of St Thomas Aquinas High School, Rob earned a degree in Creative Writing and English from the University of West Florida. He is a retired Navy submarine chief petty officer and a History and English teacher with 20 some odd years of experience. For over a dozen years Rob has preached, written over a thousand devotionals, taught courses in Bible History and the History of Christianity, led countless Bible Studies, Sunday school classes, and small groups and traveled internationally doing missions and evangelism. In 2014, he published a book of contemporary psalms called “Calm My Troubled Heart”.
Rob is blessed to be the father of 6 children: Vinnie, Kayli, Caitlin, Kassidy, Tyler, and Kelsey, and Poppy to 9 amazing grandchildren. His awesome wife, Kelly, keeps his life from flying off into a thousand different directions at once. Rob and Kelly attend The Crossing Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
In addition to his work with M2M, Michael, who served for several years as youth pastor in a small church, is a high school math teacher with 20 years teaching experience in public schools. He has also taught courses in culinary arts at the college level. Michael is a volunteer for Cru, and along with Pastor Rob, helped start Cru at Humble High School in Humble, Texas. He is currently the sponsor of Cains for Christ at Klein Cain High School.
Michael is a father of four: Derington, Jackson, Mackenzie, and Brady. His wife Danielle is also a teacher (middle school language arts). As a family, they enjoy movies, football and baseball, and all things Disney. They attend The Crossing Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
