Wynne Kairos
At Mile 2 Ministries, we are very active with Kairos Prison Ministries, specifically the Wynne Kairos team. If you are not familiar with Kairos, this ministry works inside prisons throughout the United States as well as in several other countries. Our particular ministry involvement is specifically working at the Wynne Unit in Huntsville, Texas. So what do we do?

Twice each year, once in the spring and once in the fall, we spend four days, Thursday through Sunday, at the Wynne Unit working with a group of 42 men in white bringing them a short course in Christianity. Through a prescribed series of talks and activities, worship services and music, fellowship and food (we provide home-cooked meals for most of the time we are there), the team works to lead these men to Christ, to bring hope where often there is no hope, and to strengthen those who have already come to Christ. All in all, this a powerful and rewarding mission trip to which we invite anyone interested to join us. There are opportunities for both men and women, and if you are interested in more information or becoming part of our team, simply let Rob or Michael know. We LOVE talking about Kairos and how Christ works in the prison system!
